*M42 cryogenically treated high speed steel containing 5% vanadium and 8% cobalt.The 67-68HRC hardness improves the durability of sharpness and impact toughness, making its cutting performance better than M2.

The skew chisel will give a clean smooth finish. Once mastered a skew chisel is one of the most versatile in the turners tool rack. It is able to perform planing cuts, vee cuts and clean cuts on end grain produce beads, cylinders and tapers.
